Soccer: Pazzini, J. Cesar omitted from Inter's Euro squad

Serie A giants trying to offload players

(ANSA) - Milan, July 27 - Inter Milan made it clear that striker Giampaolo Pazzini and Brazil keeper Julio Cesar no longer feature in their plans when they omitted the pair from their Europa League squad on Friday.

Julio Cesar has helped Inter win five Serie A titles and a Champions League crown since joining them in 2005, but the club are trying to offload him after signing Slovenia keeper Samir Handanovic from Udinese. Pazzini has failed to live up to expectations since joining Inter from Sampdoria last year. Inter will face Croatian side Hajduk Split in the Europa League preliminaries at the start of August.
