Uruguayan set to miss start of Serie A season

(ANSA) - Turin, July 23 - Juventus defender Martin Caceres looks set to miss the start of the Serie A season after the Italian champions said on Monday that the Uruguayan has a knee injury.

The problem, which he suffered on Saturday during a friendly tornamment of 45-minute matches featuring AC Milan and Inter Milan, is expected to sideline him for a month.

Juve's Italy winger Simone Pepe suffered a thigh strain at the tournament, the Turin club said.
