Italy committed to Syrian refugee aid, says Terzi
Foreign minister at Syria talks in Tunisia

(ANSA) - Tunis, February 24 - Italian Foreign Minister
Giulio Terzi said Friday that Italy was committed to furthering
its aid to Syrian refugees.
"Italy is fully committed to continue in this direction,"
said Terzi referring to aid to refugee camps outside the border
of Syria.
The foreign minister was speaking in Tunis at the
conference Friends of Syria.
At a meeting of foreign ministers in Rome Monday, Terzi and
his Tunisian counterpart Rafik Abdessalem called on Syrian
authorities to suspend the use of weapons against unarmed
civilians.Thousands have died in the year-long conflict.
