George Clooney said Tuesday that his single days are behind him
and he has ''settled down'' with his Italian girlfriend

Canalis.''I have settled down, haven't you noticed? I'm with someone,'' the American actor told reporters in Paris when asked about his love life. ''I'm extremely happy with my private life. I'm lucky enough to live with sweet company, to be in good health, to have wonderful friends and a formidable family. ''I couldn't dream for better''.
The confirmation of Clooney's bliss with Canalis will come as a blow to the many fans who dream of taking her place, although their hopes have not been completely dashed, as the 49-year-old again dodged the subject of marriage.
Clooney, who spends a great deal of time at his Lake Como villa, was first spotted with Sardinian-born Canalis last year.
The couple were introduced by a mutual friend in Rome and officially went public with their relationship when they appeared together on the red carpet at the 2009 Venice Film Festival, sparking speculation a wedding was on the way.
Canalis, 31, is a TV presenter and actress started out as a dancer on a well-known satirical news show. Her past boyfriends include former Italy forward Christian Vieri.
