(ANSA) - Milan, March 11 - AC Milan will react to
Wednesday's 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford like they did in 2004
when they won the Serie A title after going out of the Champions
League by the same scoreline to Deportivo La Coruna, CEO Adriano
Galliani said Thursday."You'll see, it'll be like after La Coruna, now we'll win the scudetto," Galliani said.
Milan will again be without Pato and, probably, Alessandro Nesta when they host Chievo this weekend hoping to cut a four-point gap from Serie A leaders Inter who travel to Catania.
Wednesday's defeat was Milan's second heaviest in its European Cup history after a 5-1 loss at Barcelona in 1959.
The Italian press was merciless with the Rossoneri on Thursday with La Gazzetta dello Sport saying the "historic defeat left only the rubble of the old Milan".
