Value of the tender could reach around 230 mln euro

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - The major Czech passenger train operator
'Ceske drahy' has announced yesterday a public tender for the
delivery of up to 50 new electric trains for the regional public
transport, Radio Praha informed.
According to Radio Praha, the tender could reach a value of over six billion Czech crowns, around 230 million euro.
Ceske drahy currently operates over 7,000 trains a day on average and last year transported around 175 million passengers.
