PM Ana Brnabic: 'This confirms we've made good reforms'

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - Belgrade 'Nikola Tesla' airport has hit the record level of 5 million passengers this year. It's the best result ever in 55 years of activity.

On this occasion, in order to certify the presence of the passenger No 5 million - a sports journalist leaving for London - a ceremony took place on Friday, attended by Serbia's premier Ana Brnabic. According to PM, this result confirms the steady progress made not only by Belgrade but by the whole country, thanks to reforms aiming to transform and modernise Serbia. ''We do everything in favour of population and for the progress of our country, and this leads to a steady increase in the number of people travelling, with a consequent increase in income for state coffers'', the premier said, attending the ceremony along with Belgrade mayor Sinisa Mali and the airport managers. Passenger No 5 million received two airline tickets to reach European destinations as well as an annual card to get into the airport's VIP lounge. (ANSA).
