(ANSA) - SKOPJE - The prospects for strengthening regional
cooperation between the Balkan countries in the fields of social
development, infrastructure and environment, are the focus of a
meeting which is being held today and tomorrow in Skopje,
Macedonia, where more than 150 entrepreneurs , businessmen,
economists, politicians, experts from Balkan countries, meet
with representatives of international organizations and
institutions.
'Connectivity' is the motto of the 'Summit 100' conference that
takes place this year in Macedonia, after past editions in
Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia Herzegovina.
The managers of large groups and companies which are active in
the Balkan region - among others Gorenje, Atlas, Atlantic,
Alkaloid, Delta Holding, Bbi, Bambi - participate in the meeting
which is attended, among others, by the EU's Commissioner for
transport Violeta Bulc, representatives of the World Bank , the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and
other financial institutions. Transport, infrastructure, energy,
digital agenda, tourism are the main topics og the ongoing
