(ANSA) - TRIESTE - A 250 kilometres long bike route connecting Budapest with Vienna could become reality, Hungary's Government commissioner, Máriusz Révész, said in an interview for the local media. Revesz said that the route could be used by 200,000 people each year, generating 4-5 billion forints of revenues (around 16 million euros). The Commissioner further underlined that the Hungarian Government plans to make considerable investments into the development of a bike route network to connect localities like the Lake Balaton, the Danubian town of Dunakeszi north of Budapest, and the wine region of Tokaj.
