(ANSA) - TRIESTE - A 250 kilometres long bike route
connecting Budapest with Vienna could become reality, Hungary's
Government commissioner, Máriusz Révész, said in an interview
for the local media. Revesz said that the route could be used by
200,000 people each year, generating 4-5 billion forints of
revenues (around 16 million euros). The Commissioner further
underlined that the Hungarian Government plans to make
considerable investments into the development of a bike route
network to connect localities like the Lake Balaton, the
Danubian town of Dunakeszi north of Budapest, and the wine
region of Tokaj. (ANSA).
