Koper Port throughput up by 4% in first semester

Net income jumps to 14.4 million euro (+86%)

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Port of Koper total cargo throughput grew by 4% in the first half of 2014 compared to the same period of 2013, with 9.2 million tons handled. The growth has a positive effect on the results of the public company Luka Koper, whose net income for the period jumped to 14.4 million euro, with an increase of 86% compared to 2013.

The results are driven by revenue growth, worth 79.9 million euro (+9%). In the period the company has invested 16.9 million euro. (ANSA).
