(ANSA) - LJUBLJANA - The process of privatising Aerodrom Ljubljana, the company that runs the airport of the Slovenian capital city, is in the final hour. Slovenia's State Fund (SDH), which manages all the state-owned companies, has started an exclusive negotiation with the Fraport, the company which runs Frankfurt Airport, which has so far submitted the best tender. SDH is selling 75% of Aerodrom Ljubljana, but the terms of the sale contract are still unknown. Save, the company which runs the Marco Polo Airport in Venice, seems therefore out of the game. Save was considered one of the favourites to win the tender, along with other giants in the same sector, such as France's Vinci Airports and Friedman Pacific.

Aerodrom Ljubljana ended the first quarter of 2014 with a revenue of 7.13 million euros (up 6% compared to the same period last year) and with a net profit which amounted to 850,000 euros. (ANSA).
