(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 16 MAG - The Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and the Albanian Minister of Tourism and Environmental Protection Blendi Klosi signed yesterday an agreement on cooperation between Serbia and Albania in the field of tourism.

The Serbian government said in a statement that the aim of the agreement is to "improve the tourist offer of the two countries" and to "jointly take part" in activities in third countries to attract more tourists.

Ljajic noted that Serbia and Albania can create a common tourist product in order to attract in particular guests from overseas markets. Ljajic added that Serbia has similar agreements with other countries in the region and that these deals lead to the "creation of a common tourist product, which increases the chance to attract tourists from remote markets," interested to visit more countries during their trips than only one, the statement reads.
