07 June, 17:26Made up of 7 project partners from six different countries (Area Science Park, University of Basilicata, National Chamber of Croatian Economy, Belgrade Technology Park, Ljubljana Technology Park, Albanian Ministry of Finance and Economy, Certh - Greek Center for research and technology), the network is supported by the Innovair platform, a virtual innovation market.

"Creating a solid and permanent network that is able to work in synergy to improve the capacity for innovation and cooperation between research infrastructures and companies in the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region is essential to enhance economic growth and competitiveness not only in FVG, but across the whole country", said Sergio Paoletti, president of Area Science Park, on the sidelines of the agreement. "The expertise gained over the years by Area in technology transfer and research enhancement - he added - will be made available to the entire network so that the conditions are created to develop new international research projects and offer greater opportunities for the centers based in these territories".
