Research: Italy-Slovenia, meeting on joint projects Trieste

About 20 in six years, another 50 waiting for EU approval

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Joint research and high education projects in science and technology sectors such as energy, environment, cultural and natural heritage, new materials, health, water, food and agriculture, are the major ongoing partnerships between Italy and Slovenia. A cross-border conference taking place at the Area Science Park in Trieste is focusing on these projects.

Among partnerships supported by Trieste University, which promoted the event in collaboration with Area, are about 20 projects developed in the last 6 years in several sectors, such as life sciences, physical and social sciences, along with another 50 projects waiting for EU approval. The goal of this meeting is to improve the partnership between the two countries in the sectors of education, science and technology within areas having a strong social impact. (ANSA).
