Migrants: von der Leyen, solidarity is not one-sided
Italy is geographically exposed, burden sharing to be revised

(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 2 - "We want our procedures to be
effective, efficient but also humane. It is not an easy task,
but we have all understood that there are no easy solutions. It
is necessary to revise the concept of burden-sharing. We know
that Italy, Spain, and Greece are geographically exposed: it is
fundamental to guarantee solidarity but this is never a
one-sided process", said the EC president Ursula von der Leyen
during a joint statement with the premier Giuseppe Conte.
