(ANSA) - TRIESTE, July 12- Tourism and business are the two
issues addressed by the Slovenian Economy Minister Zdravko
Počivalšek at the bilateral summit with the Councilor for
productive Activities and Tourism of Friuli Venezia Giulia,
Sergio Bini, and the president of the URES (Slovenian Regional
Economic Union) Robert Frandolic.
"During the meeting with the regional administration -
Počivalšek said - we talked about development starting from
Mount Canin and the cycle routes, which are the projects both
countries intend to invest in. During the Slovenian presidency
of the European Union in the second half of 2021, we will also
present to Europe the collaboration between our territories as
an example of good practice". Bini anticipated that another
summit would take place in September. "Today's meeting was very
fruitful and the collaboration with our neighbors, not only
Slovenia but also Veneto, is the most important tool if we want
to continue growing". During the visit to the Illy plant,
Počivalšek was accompanied by the company CEO, Massimiliano
Pogliani, who explained some production steps and by the
director of the University of coffee, Moreno Faina. "It was a
pleasure for me to discover your philosophy and I am
enthusiastic about your sustainable approach and your future
vision that is definitely committed to sustainability", the
minister said.
