Mogherini wishes to bequeath irreversible work on W.Balkans
EU High Rep aims to consolidate EU path of region in next months

(ANSA) - BRUXELLES, 14 NOV - "If you ask me what I would like
to achieve" in "a bit less than a year" from now, "is to
consolidate the work on the Balkans, try to leave to the next
High Representative a situation that makes it impossible to
imagine that the Balkans go back" on their path towards EU
integration, EU High Representative said today during a
conference organised by the NGO Crisis Group.
Mogherini pointed out that "while there is a growing demand for an EU global role", in 2019, Brussels must "focus on Western Balkans, EU defence, and external work on migration".(ANSA).
