Macedonia: survey, 40% voters support name change

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 06 SET - Almost 41% of voters in Macedonia may support the name change of the country in the upcoming referendum of September 30, according to a survey of the Institute for Democracy and M-Prospect, local media reported.

40.9 percent of the respondents said that they will vote in favour of confirming the Prespa agreement on the name change in "Republic of North Macedonia", while only 8.6% said that they will vote against. A high number of respondents, 42%, refused to respond to the survey, while 6.3% said that they are still undecided. (ANSA).
