Hungary: survey, support for PM Orban’s party increasing

Approval rising after the formation of new government

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - If elections were held in Hungary today, the coalition of the ruling parties Fidesz, led by Prime minister Viktor Orban, and the KDNP party would have nearly 400,000 votes more, increasing from 2,6 to 3 million voters, according to a survey of the research institute Nezopont. The survey reveals a significant increase of support towards the political parties supporting Orban, after the formation of the new government.

According to local media, the Nezopont survey shows that the alliance between Fidesz and KDNP is supported by 54% of committed voters. +2% compared with April, followed by Jobbik, with 19%, and the Socialist party with 9%. (ANSA).
