(ANSA) - MOSCOW - Citizen 'G', the Ukrainian man accused of
being the organizer of the attempted murder of the Russian
reporter Arkady Babchenko, exiled in Kiev, was indicted on
terrorism, Ukrainskie Novosti news agency reported. At the same
time, the defense attorney of the citizen 'G' reported, through
a post on Facebook, to consider the issue ''a very bad
provocation''. ''The attempt to intimidate my client has failed,
then we will have to see how everything will go on'', Yevgeny
Solodko added. According to Strana, daily newspaper, the citizen
'G' might be an entrepreneur who supplied arms to the Ukrainian
army and according to a source he might have been contacted by
the Kiev services, asking him to participate in an operation of
counter-intelligence. The man accepted - according to Strana -
but his 'contact' has then disappeared. However, Ukrainian
intelligence now claims that 'G' has worked for Russian
services. (ANSA).
