(ANSA) - STRASBOURG, JAN. 30 - The European Court of Human Rights, based in Strasbourg, legitimised and defended the use of religious symbols in advertising, and condemned Lithuania for fining a company that used Jesus and Mary on posters and internet to sell clothes. According to judges, the fine imposed on the company for "offending public morality" violated the company's right to freedom of expression. (ANSA).
