Montenegro: Tajani, Europe is present and committed
Stability in the region means stability for the whole Europe

(ANSA) - BRUXELLES - "Europe is present and committed to the
EU perspective" of Montenegro and the whole of the region, said
the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani,
addressing the people of Montenegro and the country's political
leaders at the end of his two-day journey to Montenegro.
"History and geography unite us", therefore "stability in the region means stability for the whole Europe", Tajani added.
Brussels and Podgorica cooperation is supposed to bring "concrete results" to "prevent irregular migration, fight terrorism, extremism, radicalisation and organised crime", the EP President stressed.
Nevertheless, in Montenegro "some important elements such as economic reforms, fight against corruption and the rule of law still need to be improved," Tajani pointed out.(ANSA).
