(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOV. 16 - About 400,000 migrants and refugees have arrived in Croatia in the last two months, since September 16, when the border between Serbia and Hungary was closed, Croatia's Interior Ministry reported. About 180,000 of these migrants were transferred to Hungary during the first month, and another 220,000, after the construction of the barbed wire fence along the Croatian-Hungarian border, came from Croatia to enter Slovenia.

On November 2, a transit and reception camp suitable for cold weather was opened. According to Croatian authorities, the influx of migrants is not expected to decrease in the coming months. (ANSA).
