Slovenia's 2015 budget gets EU green light

After deficit adjustments as required by Brussels

29 October, 18:31
(ANSA) - LJUBLJANA - The European Commission has approved the Slovenia's draft budget for 2015, proposed by the Miro Cerar government, Slovenian media reported. The approval has arrived after the governnment sent the revisions as required by Brussels.

Slovenia was amongst the countries from which the European Commission had asked for adjustments so that the EU deficit rules as imposed by Maastricht parametres (3% of GDP) are not breached. The provisions are to be presented in the Parliament over the next weeks. (ANSA).
