(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 10 MAR - Economic growth in Poland will slow down this year, according to forecasts of Erste Group Research analysts.

"Weaker domestic demand as well as uncertainty related to spread of COVID-19 is to drag economic growth down to 2.2% in 2020," Erste said in a country update for Poland. According to Erste, inflation in February will rise slightly to 4.6% year on year, due to high food and services prices.

The European Commission in its latest forecasts said that Poland will grow 3.3% in 2020, with inflation rising to 2.7%. (ANSA).
