(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 08 MAR - A total of 812 confirmed cases
of coronavirus (+147 day-on-day) and no deaths were registered
in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria
and Greece as of March 7, according to official data of national
authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in
Germany (639, +105 in the last 24 hours), Austria (66, +19),
Greece (32), Czech Republic (12), Croatia (11, +1), Estonia (10,
+7), Slovenia (9, +3), Romania (7, +1), Belarus (6), Hungary (5,
+3), Poland (5, +4), North Macedonia (3, +2), Bosnia and
Herzegovina (2), Latvia (1), Lithuania (1), Serbia (1), Slovakia
(1, +1), Ukraine (1). Slovakia reported the first case of
COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
No confirmed cases were counted by WHO in Albania, Bulgaria,
Kosovo, Moldova and Montenegro as of March 7, 2020.
However, local authorities in Bulgaria and Moldova reported
the first cases on March 8. (ANSA).
