Italy-Serbia: Minister of the Environment Costa in Belgrade

To strengthen collaboration in environmental protection

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCTOBER 28 - Minister of the Environment, Land and Sea Sergio Costa arrived in Belgrade today, at the invitation of his counterpart Minister Goran Trivan.

During the visit - the Italian Embassy in Belgrade reported in a statement - bilateral talks are going to take place and a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed to intensify collaboration between Italy and Serbia in the field of environmental protection.

During the visit, in addition to the meeting with Minister Trivan, Minister Costa will visit some sites in the natural park of Fruska Gora and the headquarters of the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of Serbia.

The national directors of the Sila National Park and of the Djerdap National Park will sign, in the presence of the two Ministers, a collaboration agreement in areas of common interest. (ANSA)
