Austria: Vienna airport, 27 mln passengers record in 2018
Also cargo volumes increased year-on-year

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 29 - The Vienna International Airport
handled more than 27 million passengers in 2018, a year-on-year
increase of 10.8 percent and a record for the Austrian air
terminal, local media have reported.
The airlines that contributed the most to the increase of
passengers volume were Austrian Airlines, Eurowings, EasyJet,
Lufthansa and Laudamotion.
In 2019, the management of the Vienna airport expects to
break the 30-million passengers record.
The volume of cargo handled in Vienna in 2018 was also higher
by 2.6% year-on-year. (ANSA).
