Automotive: Renault starts producing new engine in Romania

Petrol-based IG-T100 with Dacia

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JANUARY 8 - The French car producer Renault started the production of a new engine in Romania, at its Romanian subsidiary Dacia, the portal Romania Insider reported.

The engine, a petrol-based IG-T100 with a capacity of one liter, is currently used for the Nissan Micra model.

Renault started the production of a new engine in Romania for the first time in the past seven years. In 2017, the company produced over 500,000 engines in the country, Romania Insider informed. (ANSA).
