Tourism: almost 20 million visited Croatia in 2018
Arrivals up 6.5%, +4% overnights

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 02 GEN - A record number of tourists
visited Croatia in 2018.
According to the latest data from the national eVisitor system, the Tourism ministry said, 19.7 million tourists visited Croatia in 2018, +6.5% compared with in 2017. More than 106 million overnight stays were recorded in the country last year, +4% compared with 2017.
Commenting the data, the Croatian Tourist Board director Kristijan Stanicic said that more than one billion euro was invested in tourism last year. The investment in 2019 will be at a similar level, Stanicic forecasted. (ANSA).
