(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 29 OTT - The Romanian authorities have
launched a tender for equipping more than 4,000 public schools
in Romania with WIFI internet, the specialised portal Romania
Insider reported.
The project values is estimated at around 35 million euros,
it has an implementing period of two years and the financing
mainly comes from European Union funds.
The implementing companies will have to create the
infrastructure for the use of Open Educational and Web 2.0
resources in at least 2,000 schools and WiFi internet equipment
in 4,500 institutes.
The companies interested in this project can submit their
offers by November 26, Romania Insider said. (ANSA).
