Unicredit: NPLs sold in Bulgaria for 249 million

The sale will have an impact on fourth quarter

(ANSA) - MILAN, SEPT. 28 - UniCredit through its subsidiary UniCredit Bulbank (Bulgaria) has signed an agreement with DCA (B2Holding group) for the non-recourse assignment of a portfolio of non-performing guaranteed/chirographary loans deriving from credit agreements accorded by the UniCredit Bulbank subsidiary to customers such as SMEs and companies, amounting to about 249 million. ''The sale of the portfolio is part of the current UniCredit strategy aiming to reduce non-performing exposures - a statement issued by the bank reported - and the sale will have an impact on the budget in the fourth-quarter of 2018''.(ANSA).
