Migrants: more than 10,000 entered Bosnia in 2018
Around 2,000 still in the country
18 August, 13:15 (ANSA) - BELGRADE, 18 AGO - Data released on Friday by the
Bosnian central authorities show that 10,800 irregular migrants
entered Bosnia and Herzegovina since January and until August
15, with up to 2,300 still in the country.
Bosnia's Security Minister Dragan Mektic noted that the influx is currently reducing as a result of tighter border controls. "We are putting these migrations under control and are safely managing them," Mektic said, quoted by the regional Tv N1.
