Croatia: survey, 70 pct of workers satisfied with their job

But only one in five said they are very fulfilled at work

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 14 MAG - A survey of the Croatian Federation of Independent Trade Unions (SSSH) has revealed that about 70 per cent of workers in the country are satisfied with their current jobs, local media reported.

The percentage of satisfied workers in Croatia, media noted, is lower than the EU average registered in 2015, at 86 per cent.

However, only one in five respondents said that they were very satisfied with their jobs, while in Germany the ratio is one out of three, SSSH said.

The main reasons for job dissatisfaction are the level of salary, the fact of not being able to work in their field and profession, lack of collective agreements and trade unions at their company. Higher dissatisfaction was registered among those who work on fixed-term contracts, seen as source of insecurity.
