EU welcomes start drafting of the statute for Serb community
Spokesperson says delegations will be in Brussels to negotiate

(ANSA) - BRUXELLES, 5 APR - Brussels hailed the announcement
by Kosovar Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj on giving the mandate
to a Management Team to draft the Statute of the Community of
Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo. EU spokesperson Maja
Kocijancic said, it represents a "long-awaited step" and
complies with "an obligation Kosovo undertook in the EU
facilitated Dialogue, the Brussels April 2013 and August 2015
agreements".
The drafting process will take place within a four-month time frame. The European Union will host delegations from Belgrade and Pristina, as well as the Management Team and technical experts, to discuss the drafting process. (ANSA).
