Slovenia: Erste upgrades GDP forecast for 2018
From 4 to 4.5%, thanks to export performance and domestic demand

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - Erste Group has upgraded the GDP forecast
for Slovenia for 2018 from 4 to 4.5 percent, Erste said in a
'macro outlook' published on Wednesday.
The reasons for the upgrade are based on the Slovenian GDP "robust performance in 2017" (growth at 5%). Erste took also into account the good "export performance", that maintained its favorable role in the growth, and the "strengthening domestic demand outlook." According to Erste Group estimates, the unemployment rate will keep dropping in Slovenia, from 6.8% in 2017 to 6.3 in 2018 and 5.8% in 2019. (ANSA).
