Serbia: Brnabic, good relations with Russia, but we want EU
Premier visiting Brussels, confirms military neutralit

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT. 11 - Serbia has always had good
relations with Russia, due to close cultural and religious ties,
but this does not undermine Serbia's determination to join the
European Union, according to Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, cited
today by media in Belgrade.
Answering yesterday's questions posed by MEPs in the European
Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Brnabic mentioned the
results of a recent survey: 49% of Serbian citizens and over 80%
of MEPs are in favour of the country's accession to the EU,
whereas 66% of the population supports the reforms which are
necessary to join the European Union.
