Serbia: Vucic meets with EU ambassadors

Focus on European integration, dialogue with Pristina

26 May, 15:43
(ANSA) - BELGRADE - Serbia's path toward full integration into the EU, stalemate in the dialogue with Pristina, problems in establishing the community of Serb municipalities in Kosovo: these issues were the focus of a meeting that premier and President Aleksandar Vucic had today in Belgrade with the ambassadors of the European Union and the representatives of the EU delegation in Serbia.

''Serbia is on its way to Europe and we are determined to work to ensure that this process is completed in the best possible way and in the interest of the Serbian citizens'', said Vucic, who informed diplomats about the summit held the day before yesterday in Brussels among the premiers of the Western Balkans with the EU High Representative, Federica Mogherini.

Oskar Benedikt, acting as chief of the EU delegation, praised the forms of the Serbian government and the progress made by the Balkan country toward European integration. (ANSA).
