(ANSA) - SKOPJE - Additional Eur 72 mllion of affordable
loans for small and medium-sized enterprises are set to be
secured through the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development (EBRD), it was announced by Minister of Finance
Kiril Minoski, who takes part in the Spring Meetings of the
International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the World Bank in
Washington.
The funds are part of an EBRD program designed to support
Western Balkan countries. Macedonia has the right to use 20% of
the fund, whose total amount is Eur 360 million.
According to Mia press agency, affordable loans for small and
medium-sized enterprises in Macedonia were offered also through
an EIB line of credit estimated at EUR 350 million. (ANSA).
