Bad weather in Romania and Moldova, roads and ports blocked

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Bad weather halts road traffic in Romania
and Moldova and blocks several ports on the Black Sea in
Romania, local media reports. Road traffic was down on several
segments of Romania's national roads on Friday morning because
of snow and icy winds, the Infotrafic Centre with the Romanian
Police General Inspectorate reports. Strong gales have also
brought down activities at the Black Sea ports of
Constanta-Nord, Constanta-Sud, Midia and Mangalia, according to
Agerpress.
According to Publika, Moldova suffered in the last hours over 33 national routes blocked; local routes blocked; 102 cars stuck in the snow; 254 truck involved; over 177 cases of fallen trees on cars in latest 24 hours. (ANSA).
