(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JAN. 15 - At the invitation of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia Milan Brglez, the President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Council Franco Iacop along with Vice-President Igor Gabrovec, will travel to Ljubljana next Tuesday, January 17, to attend some institutional meetings. Iacop, who is a member of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) , chairman of the inter group Alpine Strategy EUSALP and coordinator of the Conference of Presidents of Italian Regional legislative Assemblies - the Regional Council announced – will have the opportunity to exchange views on possible initiatives in favour of different autochthonous national communities, on cooperative and good neighbourhood relations aiming to develop the border area, on experiences of local self-government reform, with President Brglez and, later, with the different MPs' group leaders, and with the parliamentary committees `Slovenes around the world` and economic affairs.
