Bosnia: denied visa to the US to RS leader Dodik

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska (RS), the Serb-majority entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina, did not get a visa for the United States and will not participate in the celebrations for the settlement the new president Donald Trump, to which had been invited.

As media report in Belgrade, the Bosnian Serb leader had submitted the request for a visa on December 27 to the US embassy in Sarajevo, which has however denied both simple and diplomatic ones. In a Presidency statement in Banja Luka, Dodik expressed his gratitude for the invitation to the organizers of the celebrations in Washington, claiming he was forced to cancel the trip. (ANSA).
