(ANSA) - PRAHA, DEC 15 - Czech President Milos Zeman urges European Union to protect its outer borders, helping migrants in their countries instead of accepting them rashly. Zeman said it during a meeting in Lisbon with his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo de Sousa on Wednesday, according to Czech News Agency.

During the press conference the Czech President talked about the migrant crisis, says Cna agency: 'The heedless accepting of migrants weakens the countries from which they come. Young capable men are leaving for Europe where they will most likely live on welfare, while their home will lack their brains'. This is the reason why Zeman urges Eu to help African countries in developing their economies. An efficient aid, stressed the President, doesn't mean gifts to dictators. (ANSA).
