Scheduled 3 agreements. Slovenia's embassy reopened

22 November, 11:16

(ANSA) - TEHERAN - Slovenia's president Borut Pahor has arrived in Tehran, accompanied by 50 member delegation, to hold talks with senior Iranian officials on avenues to develop political and economic relations. Today, iranian president Hassan Rouhani welcomed the Slovenian president.

During Pahor's stay in Tehran, Slovenia's embassy will reopen tomorrow after the closure in March 2013 due to shrink diplomatic network in response to the difficult financial and economic situation in Slovenia.

The value of trade exchanges between Iran and Slovenia has decreased in recent years. However, Tehran and Ljubljana have been seeking to improve trade and economic cooperation along with political relations after the implementation of nuclear agreement. Iran and Slovenia are scheduled to sign three cooperation agreements. (ANSA).
