(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 25 OTT - The number of temporary workers in
Romania doubled since 2010, reaching 67,000 employees last year
compared to 30,000 in 2010, Romania Insider reported referring
to a study conducted by the Romanian Association for temporary
work agents (Aramt).
There is still wide possibility for growth of the sector,
given that the temporary workers represent only 0.2% of the
total, compared to the EU average of 1.8%, Aramt director
Cristina Savu said.
Temporary jobs are most frequent in manufacturing (58%) and
services (27%). Women accounted for 43% of temporary workers in
2015 compared to 51% in 2010. More than a half (53%) had a
Bachelor degree in 2015, compared to only 23% in 2010. (ANSA).
