(ANSA) - ROME - ''Eastern Europe is one of the most
interesting areas for Italian industry, suitable for small and
medium-sized enterprises aiming to invest, but also for those
who want to develop big projects'', according to the head of
Confindustria, Vincenzo Boccia. The chairman of Italian
industrialists' association relaunched his organisation's
commitment to business internationalisation from the general
assembly of Confindustria Balkans in Bucharest. ''The
partnership for co-development is a new path which is worth
considering, and even banks and finance can play an important
role in this context'' he said. ''In these years, the
Confindustria's approach to business internationalisation has
changed considerably'', but we must go forward, Boccia warned,
''by building a new model for business and representation''. A
meeting between the chairman of Italian industrialists'
association and the President of the Republic of Romania, Klaus
Johannis, was held on Wednesday with a Confindustria delegation
accompanied by Ambassador Diego Brasioli. The general assembly
of Confindustria Balkans (a federation made up of Italian
industrialists in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia
and Albania) has also elected Mauro Maria Angelini as new
president. (ANSA).
