Bulgaria, citizens' bank deposits up by 6.9% year-on-year
+9.6% for non-governmental sector,+30% for financial enterprises

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 22 SET - At the end of August, bank deposits of the non-governmental sector in Bulgaria amounted to 66 billion leva (around 33 billion euros, 74.7% of Gdp), Bta agency reported citing the data released by the National Bank.
A 9.6% increase was registered compared to the same month of the last year.
In the same period of reference, the deposits of households and non-commercial organisations servicing households amounted to 43 billion leva (49.2% of Gdp), marking a 6.9% year-on-year growth.
The deposits of non-financial enterprises amounted to 18,8 billion leva (21.2% of Gdp), up by 12.8% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, the deposits of financial enterprises grew by 29.9% between August 2016 and the same month of the last year, reaching 3.8 billion leva (4.3% of Gdp).(ANSA).
