(ANSA) - TRIESTE - The American multinational company, IBM,
will open its Client Innovation Centre in Zagreb in spring 2017,
Croatian media reported, adding that the project will bring 500
new jobs.
"IBM has been present in Croatia for over 20 years and the
decision to expand our business here - through a centre that
will serve our clients around the world - is due to the
location, the business environment and the job market available
here", Damir Zec, Ibm Croatia director, said.
Croatia's prime minister, Tihomir Oreskovic, commented that
the IBM's decision will send a positive signal to other
investors, proving Croatia as a competitive country. "Creating
high quality jobs in the IT sector is a priority for our
economy", Oreskovic added. (ANSA).
