If both parents reduce their working hours

19 July, 09:26
(ANSA) - BERLIN - The German government will give young families 300 euros, when both parents decide to reduce their working hours from 36 to 28 in order to dedicate more time to their children. Federal Minister for Family Affairs Manuela Schwesig announced this decision as part of a series of measures, aiming to reconcile working and parenting. This bonus, which will cost to the state a billion per year, will be granted for a maximum of 2 years, until the child is 8 yo. (ANSA).
