Eurostat:Poland,Romania among EU's top 5 vegetable producers
9% and 7,3% share of cultivated land

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Two countries of the New Europe area,
Poland and Romania, are among the EU's biggest vegetable
producers according to the data relative to 2015 released by
Eurostat.
Poland is fourth ranked with 9% of the total of EU's cultivated land, while Romania is fifth with 151,000 hectares and a 7.3% share. Italy came first with 20% share, followed by Spain (17%) and France (11%). (ANSA).
